Our beginnings 

The legacy of Veritas Asset Solutions closely follows the career trajectory of our founding member Satish Babu. Following his illustrious stint with BOB JV (IndiaFirst Life) in 2015, he joined SPA Capital Advisors as a Senior Advisor. His time at SPA was marked by successful undertakings, including his crucial advisory support on the GHMC municipal bond Issue and Placement valued at Rs 3000 crores, which was the first municipal bond in India.

Backed by his critical learnings from SPA Capital Advisors and over 15 years of experience working with Aditya Birla Capital, Reliance Capital, and BoB JV, Satish Babu along with Sreedhar Challa formed Erudite Asset Advisory Services LLP in 2019, which was formally renamed as Veritas Asset Solutions in 2022.

Satish Babu

Director

Satish Babu is a seasoned expert with over 22 years of experience in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Business Development & Implementation. In his illustrious career, he has extensively worked with several global organizations like Birla Sunlife Insurance, Reliance Life Insurance & IndiaFirst Life Insurance— right from its inception as a Core Member. A trusted advisor who has played a significant role in the implementation of strategies that transformed businesses, he is accredited with conceptualizing and developing several pathbreaking IT initiatives for new generation sales verticals like Affinity Insurance, Micro Insurance, and Health Insurance portal, to name a few. With his strong domain expertise and technical acumen, Satish delivers innovative, scalable, and profitable solutions to our clientele. Satish is an IIM Kozhikode alumnus with a specialization in strategy & marketing.

Sreedhar Challa

Sreedhar Challa is a celebrated financial professional with robust experience in non-banking financial services, stock broking, investment banking, asset management, corporate advisory, and wealth management/private banking services. He has over 25 years of diversified corporate experience with specialized expertise in managing various areas of financial services, legal & company affairs. His academic accomplishments include an MBA, MFT, LLB, Pre-qualification as Company Secretary and PGPMAX from ISB and business programs from FDC-Brazil, Wharton, and Kellogg, and capital market-related certifications.

Priyatam Kallakuri

Priyatam Kallakuri possesses a vast experience of over 20 years in the areas of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. In addition, he has hands-on experience across multiple industries like construction and financial services. Before joining Veritas, he served in senior management roles in large organizations like Karvy, Pidilite Industries, Reliance Life Insurance & IndiaFirst Life. With a proven track record of achieving outstanding results for clients in life, general, and health insurance businesses, Priyatam combines his cogent understanding of the domain with strong customer centricity to solve complex business challenges. He has done his MBA from AMITY University with a specialization in sales & marketing.

Nand Gopal Somani

CA. Nand Gopal Somani comes with diversified experience of over 26 years in Accounts and Finance encompassing the areas of Corporate Accounts & Finance, Project Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Due Diligence for Venture Capitalists, Banks & Financial Institutions, Corporate Statutory & Internal Audits, Review & Implementation of Internal Controls, Forex & FEMA Advisory, Business Restructuring, and Direct & Indirect Taxation Advisory mainly to Corporate & NRIs. Further to being a practicing Fellow Chartered Accountant (All India Rank Holder in CA exams), Cost Accountant (CMA), and Pre-qualified Company Secretary, Nand Gopal is also a renowned Faculty in the fields of Taxation – Direct & Indirect, Cost Accounting, Financial Accounting & Reporting, and Strategic Financial Management.

Vinay Totla

Vinay Totla is a seasoned professional with over 22 years of diversified experience across accounting and financial services with an in-depth understanding of Corporate Finance, Project Finance, Debt Syndication, Business Analysis, Statutory & Internal Audit, Taxation, Strategic Financial Planning, and ERP implementations. Being a certified Valuer and Resolution professional, he is a trusted advisor to clients in matters of asset procurements, mergers, acquisitions, and integrations. Before joining Veritas, he worked with firms like L&T infotech ltd, and Oracle India Pvt Ltd. Vinay is a Practicing Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Cost Accountant (CMA).

Vijay Gopal Vangala

Vijay Gopal Vangala is a practicing Chartered Accountant with specialized experience in the areas of Project Finance, Taxation, and Structured Finance. In his illustrious career spanning over 17 years, he has worked with renowned institutions like Tata Projects, Greenko, Penna Power projects, and GVK among others. Combining his experience in renewable energy, construction, and green energy projects with his strong accounting acumen, Vijay has been instrumental in advising clients on various strategic and financial developments

Lalitha Potaraju

Lalitha Potaraju is an accomplished human resources specialist with MBA-HR and B.Ed from Osmania University and a MA in Psychology from IGNOU. With over 10 years of experience in recruitment and training, Lalitha has been helping clients with their manpower management needs by identifying skill gaps and helping with the planning, development, and optimization of workforce to realize the business goals set by the clients
